What’s New for 2017?

2017 is finally here and we at Student Furniture have some exciting new products to launch. In the run up to 2017, we have carefully selected the latest in design in order to curate a collection that will attract students and be as practical and adaptable as possible for accommodation providers.

As well the aesthetic appeal of furniture, we also focus on products’ functionality and how they fit into the lives of students. In fact, we believe that design affects happiness and wellbeing – important factors for students.

Here is a sneak peak of our new 2017 ranges – hand-selected pieces that combine style and functionality.

Launched in late 2016 at the Class of 2020 Conference in Vienna, Tesse and BLOK (pictured above) emanate “future-proof”. They are modular sofas, but not in the traditional sense. They are made up of pieces which the user can mix and match to suit them.

Both Tesse and BLOK can be armchairs, sofas, beds – the possibilities are (almost) endless!

These “DIY – Design It Yourself” pieces are perfect for the modern student. Instead of students having to get used to rigid, uncomfortable accommodation, the accommodation must adapt itself to the lives of students.

The beauty of Alba lies in its simplicity. The minimal design radiates a “contemporary cool” that will attract students, while making for a lightweight, stackable stool.

The versatile Alba comes in a wide range of colours and is the perfect pop of colour for communal kitchens and study spaces – areas that are becoming increasingly important in student accommodation.

Give your student accommodation the edge with Bliss: comfort, decadence and flare all rolled into one patchwork-inspired sofa. Modern accommodation can sometimes feel clinical or cold, but Bliss brings warmth and heart back to student living.

Students highly value their spaces for relaxation and socialising, and Bliss is ideal for these areas. An armless option is available meaning large spaces can be filled with “Endless Bliss”.
